As a birth doula, my primary goal is to help you achieve the birth you envision. I am here to guide you through your fears, help you set clear goals and intentions for your labor and delivery, and support you in preparing both mentally and physically in the lead-up to your birth. On the big day, I will provide the mental, emotional, and physical support you need, offering reassurance and comfort to both you and your partner every step of the way.
My passion lies in supporting natural births. I believe that the birth process unfolds most efficiently when we allow it to happen without unnecessary interference. Our bodies are inherently designed to bring babies into the world, and I trust that with the right support, we have everything we need to do so. If you’re uncertain about what natural birth entails or how it aligns with your birth goals, I am always happy to share my knowledge and discuss the benefits of a natural birth approach.
Regardless of your birth plan, if you’re looking for someone who will stand by you and support you in creating the birth experience you want, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I would be honored to join you on this transformative journey as you bring your baby earthside.
In addition to birth support, I also specialize in helping expecting parents navigate the overwhelming world of baby products—specifically, finding non-toxic options for baby’s arrival. This became a personal passion for me during my own pregnancy journey. My husband and I had been working to remove toxins from our personal care products and home, and that commitment naturally extended to choosing safe, non-toxic products for our baby. However, the research process was often confusing and time-consuming, and I want to simplify that for other parents.
That’s why I created and continually update my Less-Toxic Baby Registry document, which I provide to my doula clients at no additional cost. For those who are not currently working with me as clients but are interested in this resource, I also offer it as a standalone service.
No one should have to spend unnecessary time and energy sifting through baby products to ensure they are free of harmful chemicals. This should be the standard, yet it often isn’t. Let me take that stress off your plate. You focus on nurturing the precious life growing inside of you, and I’ll focus on protecting it from harmful chemicals once it arrives.
She was a gentle advocate for me to healthcare staff (while always being respectful) and just her calm presence contributed to the overall atmosphere I wanted for the birth of my last child. I am forever grateful to her and if you’re looking for a kind, caring, passionate doula—she’s your girl.
I could not, without a doubt, have had the pregnancy and labor experience that I did without Heather. Throughout pregnancy, she was my rock as I had a boatload of questions that came up at all hours. She never tried to push me in any direction, but shared facts and resources with me to help me make informed decisions. During the labor, her ability to know exactly what I was feeling and what I needed at any given moment was magical. I felt spiritually connected to her throughout the process. Her calm, knowing presence helped me trust my body and my instincts to work through labor how I needed to. When my baby unexpectedly had complications immediately after birth, I was so grateful to have Heather stay by my side as my husband and baby were unexpectedly separated from me. I’m honored to have had Heather as my doula, and now, my friend.

Heather was the doula for the birth of my fourth child in November of 2024. I had never had a doula previous to this birth but had always wanted one and thought it could only be beneficial if I could find the right one. Although each of my births were unmedicated and overall positive experiences – I truly don’t know that this one would have gone the way I had hoped without Heather there. Natural births in a hospital setting can be inherently difficult; and this birth experience certainly threw me for a few loops right from the start. Heather not only provided physical support and calm but, more importantly, the mental and emotional support I needed despite some disappointing news that arose multiple times in different facets throughout the labor experience. Heather was skilled at taking cues on what I needed from her during different parts of the labor based on my presentation without asking much from me. This was greatly appreciated especially during transition when I was in “labor land”. She was a gentle advocate for me to healthcare staff (while always being respectful) and just her calm presence contributed to the overall atmosphere I wanted for the birth of my last child. I am forever grateful to her and if you’re looking for a kind, caring, passionate doula—she’s your girl.
